The Young Parliamentarians of AIPA (YPA) of the Malaysia Parliament paid a courtesy call to The Speaker of the Legislative Council. The courtesy call took place at Dewan Majlis Building, 13th August morning. During the courtesy call both parties discussed the role of young leaders, including Members of Parliament, as a channel for the younger generation to voice their views and contribute to national and regional development. Both parties also expressed a joint commitment to strengthen cooperation and build a more inclusive future for the coming generations.
Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Lela Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abdul Rahman bin Dato Setia Haji Mohamed Taib received the courtesy call from the delegation led by Yang Berhormat Dato' Indera Mohd Shahar bin Abdullah, Member of the Malaysia Parliament as Chairman of the YPA Committee. The discussion also touched on education issues including unemployment and gaps in employment opportunities.
