His Royal Highness Prince (Dr) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Pro-Chancellor of Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) graced the afternoon session of the 38th UBD Convocation Ceremony at the Chancellor Hall of UBD.
During the ceremony, His Royal Highness presented certificates to 388 graduates who successfully completed their programmes, comprising Master’s, Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Digital Science, Micro-Master in Occupational Health and Safety, and Diploma in Inclusive Education programmes. This year’s ceremony also saw the graduation of the first Micro-Master of Occupational Health and Safety cohort.
Jointly offered by the Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) and the Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences, the programme supports legal requirements for designated workplace medical practitioners in Brunei Darussalam.
The professional programme aims to equip lifelong learners with fundamental knowledge and skills in occupational health and environmental health and safety, as well as relevant competencies to implement programmes that promote a healthy workplace. – JAMES KON
