The Royal Brunei Police Force, through the Cyber Crime Investigation Division, Criminal Investigation Department, held a cyber crime awareness briefing specifically for senior citizens in Belait District. Held in collaboration with the Belait District Office and the Belait District Security Committee, the briefing took place on 19th January morning at Pusat Insani, Seria.
The briefing on Cyber Crime - Online Fraud is part of the initiative to raise awareness among senior citizens who are increasingly exposed to cybercrime, especially those related to online fraud. Among those present were Awang Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, Acting Belait District Officer and Yang Berhormat Awang Mohammad bin Abdullah@Lim Swee Ann, Member of the Legislative Council.
