The Defence and Security 2025 Exhibition remains one of ASEAN's leading tri-service defence and internal security platform. Held in Bangkok, Thailand, the exhibition is held until this 13th November.
The Ministry of Defence delegation to the exhibition was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also present was Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force.
Bringing together global defence and security stakeholders, including Ministers and Deputy Ministers of Defence, Commanders of the Armed Forces, the event aims to strengthen collaboration, share expertise and deepen industry engagement. The event is attended by 617 exhibiting companies, 25 national pavilions, and 289 delegates and key decision-makers from 35 countries.
Yang Berhormat also held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency General Nattaphon Narkphanit, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Thailand to discuss strategic and regional matters of mutual interest. Both ministers also reaffirmed the close defence relations shared between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand as well as reiterated their commitment to further strengthening defence cooperation.
