By the command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister’s Office hereby announces that His Majesty has commanded that the designation of Private and Confidential Secretary to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, currently held by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Hamiddon bin Haji Ibrahim, will be a Deputy Ministerial level position, with effect from Wednesday, 3rd of Jamadilawal 1448, corresponding to October 14, 2026
