The Dikir Brunei competition acted as a platform for the young generation to gain knowledge, internalise the art of dikir, and glorify Dikir Brunei in religious ceremonies. 7 teams took part in the competition for officers and students of higher education institutions.
The Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB and the Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque teams were crowned as champions. Prizes were presented by Associate Professor Doctor Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, Ra'es of KUPU SB. The event held in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration took place at the Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School, Kampung Serusop.
