Various parties continue to organise the Dikir Ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul celebration. The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism and departments under it held the Dikir Opening Ceremony in conjunction with Maulidur Rasul Celebration, 30th August night.
It was held at Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque, Mukim Kilanas. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doktor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism.
Meanwhile, Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with the Mosque Takmir Committee and Muslimah continued the Dikir Maulud. Among those present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Muhammad Juanda bin Haji Abdul Rashid, Minister of Development.
Also organising a similar ceremony was the Prime Minister's Office and departments under it. It took place at Ar-Rahim Mosque, Kampung Bukit Panggal, Tutong District. In attendance was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd. Hanifah, Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office.
The Ministry of Finance and departments under it organised a Dikir Syarafil Anam Presentation Ceremony in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration. It was held at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Malik Mosque, Kampong Tungku/Katok.
