The Islamic Religious Council of Brunei Darussalam, MUIB, organised a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with its 70th anniversary. It was held at Jame' 'Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, 31st January morning.
The reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as President of MUIB. The function coincided with the reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil for Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit; and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. Also present were members of MUIB.
