22 students who were offered scholarships from the Ministry of Religious Affairs for the 2025/2026 Academic Session to study abroad and within the country were feted at a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony. Organised by the Islamic Studies Department, the ceremony took place at a hotel in Gadong, 3rd September morning.
The award letters were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. 15 students will pursue undergraduate studies in the Arab Republic of Egypt; two students will pursue undergraduate studies in Malaysia, and five students will receive a Special 'A' Level Scheme scholarship to pursue their studies at Jerudong International School.
