In conjunction with the birthday celebration of Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri, on 6th October afternoon, the Group of the Wives of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries and Aliied Members, organised a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Doa Kesyukuran. The ceremony took place at the Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.
The recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Datin Hajah Dayang Nahriah binti Haji Awang Hasbi, Wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairperson Two of the Wives Group. It was followed by the reading of Khatam Al-Quran, Sunat Hajat Prayer and Doa Kesyukuran.
