In celebration of its 35th anniversary, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (Perbadanan TAIB) and its subsidiaries – Insurans Islam TAIB Holdings Sdn Bhd, Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd, and TAIB Filling Station Sdn Bhd – hosted a Doa Kesyukuran and Sunnat Hajat prayer ceremony at the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah in Kampong Kiarong.
The ceremony commenced with the Sunnat Hajat prayer led by Imam Grade 1 of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Haji Suhaili bin Haji Metali Al-Hafiz.
It proceeded with the recitation of Surah Yaasiin and a mass Asar prayer led by Religious Affairs Officer of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdullah.
The event concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and Doa Kesyukuran led by Executive Officer of Perbadanan TAIB Muhammad Faizun bin Haji Ali Asgar.
Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Defence II Pehin Datu Lailaraja Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof in his capacity as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB’s Board of Directors was the special guest.
Permanent Secretary (Coordinating Economic Policies) at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry Datin Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Ibrahim in her capacity as Managing Director of Perbadanan TAIB, Assistant State Mufti (‘Ifta) Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Dennie bin Haji Abdullah as Chairman of Perbadanan TAIB’s Syariah Advisory Committee, members of the Board of Directors, members of the Syariah Advisory Committee, as well as officers and staff of Perbadanan TAIB and its subsidiaries were also in attendance.
Perbadanan TAIB’s anniversary is celebrated annually to commemorate the organisation’s official inauguration on September 29, 1991, graced by the presence of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.
