Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah handed over donations amounting $74,500 to several mosques, surau and religious halls throughout the country specifically for holding ceremonies or activities in conjunction with this year's Maulidur Rasul celebration.
The donations were presented by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, as a member of the Yayasan Board of Directors. 72 mosques, surau and religious halls received donations. Also present was Doctor Dayang Nor Imtihan binti Haji Abdul Razak, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Development as Acting Managing Director of Yayasan.
