The Earth Day 2026 programme aims to foster environmental awareness among students and encourage sustainable practices from a young age. Organised by DES School in collaboration with Agrodynamics International, it took place at DES School, 22nd April morning.
Among the main activities of the programme are the exposure sessions for primary school pupils, Years 1 to 6, was on the use of environmentally friendly liquid fertilizers that are safe to use. Through the initiative, pupils were exposed to the importance of sustainable agriculture and environmentally friendly gardening methods.
The programme successfully attracted pupils' interest in gardening activities through a practical and interactive learning approach. Such an early exposure plays an important role in forming more responsible practices towards the environment and promoting a green lifestyle among the younger generation.
