The Ministry of Education on 25th August organised the first session of a policy framework workshop on comprehensive educational approach to prevent and address bullying. Organised by the Office of the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Corporate, Ministry of Education, the workshop held at the ministry aimed to create a learning environment that is safe, empathetic and conducive at all education institutions.
Present was Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The workshop included a briefing on bullying in the context of Maqasid Al-Syari'ah. Representatives from various stakeholders attended the 2-day workshop.
