The opportunities for cooperation to strengthen relations between the European Union, EU and Brunei Darussalam were among matters explored during the visit of a delegation from the European External Action Services, EEAS, to the country.
The delegation made a recent working visit and met with senior government officials. Among the issues discussed were climate change, energy transition, digitalisation and technology. Also held was a discussion on EU-Brunei Darussalam bilateral relations, as well as ASEAN-EU relations. Brunei Darussalam is currently the country coordinator for ASEAN-EU relations for the 2024 to 2027 term.
