Exercise Hikmat Bersatu VII/2026 of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, originally scheduled to be conducted from September 28, 2026 to October 7, 2026, has been postponed to a later date to be announced in due course, the Ministry of Defence (MinDef) announced in a statement yesterday.
The decision was made based on the current haze, which continues to affect air quality in Brunei Darussalam, as well as the prevailing hot weather, taking into consideration the safety and well-being of all personnel involved, particularly given the large-scale nature of the exercise.
The revised date of the exercise and any further updates will be communicated through the MinDef’s official channels.
