Exhibition celebrates local creativity

QAF Auto Sdn Bhd, the official importer of MINI in Brunei Darussalam, on Wednesday officially launched the MINI Art Expression exhibition, a creative collaboration with Juyi Cross-Culture and Arts that brought together 12 local artists to explore and interpret the spirit of MINI through their own artistic perspectives.

More than an automotive showcase, the exhibition transformed the MINI showroom into a contemporary gallery where art, design and culture came together to celebrate creativity and self-expression. Working across a variety of artistic styles each artist created an original piece inspired by MINI’s distinctive character. While sharing the same source of inspiration, every artwork tells a different story-reflecting the individuality, imagination and creative voice of its artist.

General Manager of QAF Auto Alisa Khoo in her welcoming remarks shared that the exhibition was created to foster meaningful collaboration between the automotive and creative industries while providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talents.

“MINI has always stood for creativity and individuality. Through this exhibition, we wanted to celebrate those same values by giving local artists the freedom to interpret the brand in their own unique way. The result is not just an exhibition of artworks but a collection of personal stories, perspectives and creative expressions that demonstrate the incredible talent we have here in Brunei.”

The MINI Art Expression exhibition reflects QAF Auto’s commitment to supporting the local creative community by creating meaningful opportunities for artists to share their work, engage with the public and inspire new conversation through art.
