Awang Anang Muhammad Fathur'rahman bin Anang Abdul Rahman from Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Arabic School emerged champion in the Final of the Brunei Darussalam National Oratory Competition. Held in conjunction with the Language Month Celebration 2025, the competition took place at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas, 17th September morning.
Five participants competed speaking on issues covering language, country, socialisation, economy, culture and artificial intelligence.
Prizes were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. Second place went to Dayang Syafiqah Mumtazah binti Haji Mohd Arriffen from Universiti Brunei Darussalam while Dayang Muslimah binti Mahadi, a private participant, came in third place.
