The Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran of Senior Citizens Activity Centres throughout the district was held in conjunction with the International Day of Older Persons 2025, organised by the Department of Community Development in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Tutong District Senior Citizens Activity Centre. The final took place on 30th September afternoon at Dar Al Intisar, Jerudong Sports Complex.
Present was Awang Haji Shamsol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. 8 participants comprising 4 qari and 4 qariah presented their readings. The competition aimed to strengthen bonds of friendship among senior citizens through religious activities and to enhance the quality of Quranic reading among them.
