The Next-Generation Financial Technologies and Market Design Symposium organised by Universiti Brunei Darussalam School of Business and Economics discussed on how artificial intelligence, AI rapidly reshapes money moves, decision making, and risk management. The one day event was held at UBD.
The event featured a keynote speech titled, 'GenAI and Financial Advice' delivered by Professor Dr Lars Hornuf from Dresden University of Technology. The symposium brought together leading academics, policymakers, and industry experts to examine how AI has already changed financial systems and what needs to happen next to ensure those changes are safe, fair, and beneficial.
