Five houses were gutted in a fire in Kampung Pandai Besi 'A', 28th October morning. The Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 11.45 in the morning.
Three fire-boats and three fire engines from the Sungai Kebun and Pelancaran Fire Stations were deployed to the scene. The firefighting operation involved 35 personnel and rescuers. No casualties or injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
