A two-storey house at Kampong Panchor Dulit, Tutong District, was destroyed by a fire on Wednesday night. No injuries were reported in the incident.
According to the Fire and Rescue Department, an emergency call was received regarding a house fire at 8.54pm.
A total of 14 firefighters and three fire engines from Tutong Fire Station and Bukit Beruang Fire Station were dispatched to the scene. The operation was led by Deputy Station Officer Rinald bin Tingng and Acting Assistant Station Officer Azamain bin Haji Abdul Fattah.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a large fire engulfing the entire two-storey house and began extinguishing the blaze using three hose jets. The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. The cause of the fire and estimated losses are still under investigation.
