Brunei’s first diesel mild hybrid and biggest double cab pickup
TCY Motors Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Foton in Brunei, proudly introduces the all-new Foton V7 4×4, setting a new benchmark in the pickup segment as Brunei’s first diesel mild hybrid pickup and the biggest double cab pickup available in the market.
Powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine with a 48V Boost Recuperation System (mild hybrid), the V7 produces 161hp and 410Nm of torque through a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission and BorgWarner intelligent 4WD system.
The mild hybrid system improves responsiveness, efficiency and smoother driving while retaining the proven capability of a diesel powertrain.
Measuring an impressive 5,617mm long, 2,000mm wide and riding on a 3,355mm wheelbase, the V7 offers one of the largest cabins and cargo beds in its class, making it the biggest double cab pickup in Brunei.
Built for demanding work, it delivers a 1,050kg payload, 3,500kg braked towing capacity, 700mm wading depth and 240mm ground clearance.
Beyond its impressive work capabilities, the V7 is equally at home as a lifestyle vehicle. Designed for active families and outdoor enthusiasts, its spacious cargo bed easily accommodates bicycles, camping equipment, fishing gear, kayaks, luggage, and other recreational essentials.
Whether it’s a weekend cycling trip, camping in Temburong, a beach outing at Muara, or a family getaway across Brunei, the V7 offers the versatility to carry everything needed for the journey.
Combined with its premium cabin, smooth ZF 8-speed automatic transmission, and intelligent four-wheel drive system, it seamlessly transitions to outdoor adventures on the weekend.
Inside, the Foton V7 delivers a premium SUV-like cabin designed for comfort and premium feel. Thanks to its class-leading dimensions and generous wheelbase, the cabin offers exceptional passenger space, providing comfort comparable to many large SUVs.
Premium synthetic leather seats in black or brown, soft-touch door panels, a 10.1-inch infotainment display, and a seven-inch colour instrument cluster create a refined driving environment.
Convenience features include keyless entry with push-button start, a multifunction faux leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, multiple USB charging ports, and automatic 4WD drive mode selection, ensuring every journey is as comfortable as it is capable.
Comprehensive safety technologies include Electronic Stability Program, Hill Descent Control, Hill Hold Control, Trailer Mode, Driver Monitoring System, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, rear camera with parking sensors and four airbags, all protected by a high-strength steel body and ladder frame.
