The second day of the 1st Global Conference on Industrial, Materials, and Manufacturing, GCIMM 2025 and ASEAN Sustainable Ready for Industry, SRI 5.0 Programme were also held concurrently at UTB.
The GCIMM Conference 2025 featured a series of technical paper presentations and a keynote session by researchers from Brunei Darussalam, Korea, Thailand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Japan. Among the topics covered were corrosion resistance of stainless steel and heat transfer enhancement in battery cooling systems.
Meanwhile, the ASEAN SRI 5.0 Programme focused on green auditing and sustainability. It brought together participants from academia and industry to develop practical skills in evaluating energy, carbon, and environmental performance.
