The Get-Together Ceremony with Citizens and Residents in Belait District in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday Celebration will be held on Saturday, 30th of August, at Padang Bandaran Kuala Belait. A full rehearsal was held on 26th August morning. This year, the special performance for The Get-Together Ceremony in Belait District carries the theme 'Raja Dan Rakyat Berjiwa Satu'.
The rehearsal was witnessed by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Indera Setia Diraja Sahibul Karib Pengiran Anak Haji Idris bin Pengiran Maharaja Lela Pengiran Muda Abdul Kahar, Chief of Adat Istiadat Negara as the Co-Advisor; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman,Minister of Home Affairs; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, as Co-Chairpersons of the celebration's National Committee.
