The Giant Artwork 42 project provided a collaborative platform for artists, government agencies and the private sector to channel creativity through public art. The opening ceremony was held at the Youth Hub, Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.
Officiating the project was Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsafelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 53 artists and volunteers were directly involved in making the project a success. Also contributing their energy and commitment were 50 clients of the Narcotics Control Bureau. The project is a manifestation of support and joint participation in igniting patriotism and strengthening love for the nation.
