The Haj and Umrah Guide Professional Certificate Program is organised as a proactive effort towards producing Haj and Umrah Accompanying Officers or Guides who are professional, knowledgeable and highly dedicated. Organised by the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB through the Centre for Training and Competency Enhancement, the inaugural programme is attended by 30 participants.
The four month programme highlights seven modules among them, Introduction to Haj and Umrah Management in Brunei Darussalam; Complete Haj and Umrah Manasik Guide, and Effective Dakwah Communication in Haj and Umrah Guidance. Conducted by facilitators from KUPU SB and relevant agencies, the program equips the participants with technical skills, syariah knowledge and work ethics.
