Several food premises in the country have been approved and granted the Halal Certificate and/or Permit, either for new application or renewal by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Halal Food Control Division, Syariah Affairs Department announced that so far, 20 premises have been approved for new applications for halal certificates with TWO being granted permits. Meanwhile, 25 renewal applications have been approved for halal certificates with TWO being granted permits.
