The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), through the Halal Food Control Division under the Department of Syariah Affairs, announced that several food premises across the country were approved and issued Halal Certificates and Halal Permits by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) in July 2026.
The approvals encompassed both new and renewal applications. A total of 47 Halal Certificates and three new permits were approved for new applications, while 68 Halal Certificates and 10 permits were approved for renewals.
For the complete list of food premises nationwide that have been issued Halal Certificates or Permits by the Brunei Islamic Religious Council, members of the public may visit the official website of the MoRA or refer to the Halal Food Control Division’s Instagram account.
