The hazy condition caused by transboundary haze continued to plague the nation on Monday and the Pollutant Standard Index (PSI) readings from all the air quality monitoring stations in the four districts are all in moderate air quality throughout the day.
The latest PSI readings released by the Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, Ministry of Development, at 4pm yesterday showed that the Belait District recorded a PSI reading of 98, placing it within the moderate range (51-100). However, it was close to the unhealthy range (101-200).
Meanwhile, the Brunei-Muara District recorded a PSI reading of 79, followed by the Tutong District at 77 and the Temburong District at 68, with all three districts also recording moderate air quality.
