In conjunction with World Children's Day, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports; Ministry of Education; 'Brunei Paediatric Society', and the Children's Cancer Foundation organised a Health Talk Series. The event was held at Dewan Al-'Afiah, Ministry of Health, 1st November morning.
Various topics related to children's and adolescents' health were presented by medical experts. Also held were Interactive activities, 'Kahoot' quizzes; educational poster exhibitions, and prize games. The activity aimed to increase the community's understanding of the importance of investing in children's health, and pregnancy care that can have a positive impact. Dr. Norehan Binti Johari - Pediatric Consultant at the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital hoped that with the series of talks, civil servants and the public will choose a healthy lifestyle and become positive role models for children and adolescents. She also hoped to produce a healthy generation through spiritual, social, mental and physical aspects.
