The Language and Literature Bureau Kampong Pandan Library organised a free health examination and consultation at the library’s halls yesterday in collaboration with the Lions Club of Belait.
The event was led by organising chairperson Lion Terry Thoo, accompanied by Past President Raymond Lee, Past President Keith Wong, and four retired nurses who lent their knowledge and skills to provide brief health check-ups and consultations.
It aimed to help residents from across the village gain a deeper appreciation and understanding of their health, with the groups hoping that easy access to free healthcare check-ups will help raise awareness of the importance of health and how early detection and prevention are key towards leading a healthy lifestyle. – Daniel Lim
