By the command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, the Prime Minister’s Office hereby announces that His Majesty has consented to the appointments of several senior officers.
Ra’es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College (KUPU SB) Profesor Madya Dr Awang Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani appointed as Rector of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA). Acting Deputy Vice Chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) Profesor Madya Pengiran Dr Mohammad Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra appointed as Vice Chancellor of UTB.
Assistant Rector (International, Research and Services) of UNISSA Dr Haji Arman bin Haji Asmad appointed as Ra’es of KUPU SB.
The date of the appointment of the senior officers is effective from 17th of Safar, 1448 Hijrah corresponding to August 1, 2026.
