His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam left Malaysia after making a State Visit to the country and attending the 26th Annual Leaders' Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen.
Prior to departure, Doa Selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, State Mufti. Present at Subang Air Base to bid farewell to His Majesty were Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia; Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim; Yang Berhormat Datuk Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil, Minister of Communications as Minister in attendance; Yang Berbahagia Datuk Rozainor bin Ramli, Chief Government Ceremonial Officer, Ceremonial Division and International Conference Secretariat; His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini bin Atan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam and His Excellency Retired Brigadier General Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
