Two exciting new additions to the Honda line-up, the All-New Honda ZR-V and the Honda Super-ONE EV were officially unveiled at an exclusive launching event hosted by Happy Motoring Co Sdn Bhd representing Honda Brunei last Saturday evening.
The simultaneous introduction of the two models, held at the Honda Showroom in Gadong, represents two distinctive expressions of Honda’s approach towards the future of mobility in Brunei: the sophisticated and intelligent hybrid performance of the ZR-V, alongside the compact, energetic and fully electric character of the Super-ONE EV.
Unveiling the two new models were Happy Motoring’s General Manager Mark Yong along with Aftersales Manager of Honda Brunei Pengiran Shahrul bin PHA Rahman.
Designed with discernment and built with purpose, the All-New Honda ZR-V introduces a premium SUV experience combining sophisticated design, everyday practicality and Honda’s advanced hybrid technology.
At the heart of the ZR-V is Honda’s advanced 2.0-litre powertrain, engineered to transition seamlessly between Electric Vehicle Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive according to driving conditions.
The system produces a maximum system output of 135 kW (184 PS), while the electric motor delivers up to 315 Nm of torque, providing smooth and responsive acceleration together with a rated fuel consumption of 5.7 litres per 100 kilometres.
Making its debut alongside the ZR-V was the Honda Super-ONE EV, which is a compact electric vehicle created to bring a fresh sense of energy and enjoyment to urban mobility.
Compact in size yet bold in presence, the Super-ONE features distinctive circular LED headlamps, blister fenders, 15-inch alloy wheels and a confident, planted stance. The Super-ONE, beyond efficient electric mobility, has been engineered to make driving engaging, allowing drivers to select from ECON, CITY, NORMAL, SPORT and BOOST modes to suit different driving environments and moods.
Although distinctly different in character, the ZR-V and Super-ONE EV share Honda’s commitment to creating vehicles that are intuitive, enjoyable and relevant to the evolving needs of today’s drivers.
