The Ministry of Finance and its departments yesterday held a special religious talk in conjunction with the Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW Celebration for 1448 Hijrah at the Theatre Hall, Ministry of Finance Building.
Minister of Finance II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah was the guest of honour.
Deputy Minister of Finance Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani with permanent secretary, managing director of the Brunei Investment Agency, heads of departments and divisions; officers and staff of the ministry and its departments, including officers and staff of the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank also attended.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a special religious talk entitled ‘Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Suluh Aqidah’, delivered by Religious Development Officer, Assistant Head of the Da’wah Dissemination Division, Islamic Da’wah Centre, Ministry of Religious Affairs Haji Muskrisman bin Haji Mustapa. The programme concluded with the recitation of Doa Selamat and Doa Peliharakan Sultan, followed by a dikir performance.
The ceremony was one of the ministry’s annual religious activities held to further enliven the Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW celebration, while commemorating the Prophet’s efforts in upholding the cause of Islam and fostering love and devotion towards Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The Maulud Nabi Muhammad SAW celebration for the Ministry of Finance was organised by the Human Resource Development and Corporate Affairs Division, Ministry of Finance, and the Office of His Majesty The Sultan’s Flight.
