The impact and burden of cancer is not only on patients and family members, but also on every level of society worldwide. Therefore, it is important to remember that the World Cancer Day is not only the efforts to treat patients but also to provide support and solidarity encouragement to patients and family members. This was explained shared by the Oncologist Medical Consultant at Jerudong Park Medical Centre, JPMC, in an interview with RTB.
Prevention is an important foundation in reducing the risk of cancer. Dr Raden Mas Jeffri added early detection of cancer is crucial for improving treatment success, survival rates and reducing long-term health impacts.
