507 graduands of Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA were feted in a Khatam Al-Quran and Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony in conjunction with the 15th Haflut Takharruj. The ceremony was held on 5th August morning at Jame' 'Asr Hassanal Bolkiah in Kampung Kiarong.
The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA. The ceremony aimed to enculture the reading of Al-Quran among undergraduates in line with the country's aspiration to make Brunei Darussalam a Zikir Nation.
Appreciation Ceremomy
19 students and 7 teachers from Religious schools in the Brunei Empat Area were feted at the Outstanding Teachers and Students in the Religious Primary School Certificate Examination, SSSRU 2024 Appreciation Ceremony. It took place on 5th August afternoon at Lumapas Religious School.
Prizes and appreciation certificates were presented by Dayang Hajah Rusidah binti Haji Talip, Acting Assistant Director for Corporate Services, Islamic Studies Department, and Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ceremony which was organised by the Brunei Empat Area Religious Schools Leaders Committee act as a motivation to students and teachers to continue providing guidance and achieve excellence.
