Infant Formulas Potentially Contain Toxins

The Brunei Darussalam Food Authority, BDFA wished to inform the public regarding circulating news related to a food recall from a neighbouring country involving five batches of Nestle NAN infant formula and follow-up on formula due to the potential presence of cereulide toxin.

 

The recalled product are as follows:

- NAN HA 3 SupremePro, 800 grams, with expiry date on 31st of October 2027;

- NAN HA 2 SupremePro, 800 grams, with expiry date on 31st of May 2027;

- NAN HA 1 SupremePro, 800 grams, with expiry date on 31st of May 2027;          

- And, NAN HA 3 SupremePro, 32 grams, with expiry date on 31st of October 2026.

 

All products are from Switzerland.

 

Based on information received from International Food Safety Network and official local importers, BDFA confirms that the affected brand is not imported commercially into the country. However, members of the public who have brought the product into the country as a personal concession or purchased the product through an online platform are advised to stop using the product immediately.​
