The Information Literacy Programme for Youth in Temburong District aims to increase participants' awareness of the importance of the role of youth in developing the country and to understand the meaning of the Youth Policy. The Opening Ceremony of the Programme took place on 11th August morning at the Information Department.
Among those present was Awang Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Deputy Director of Information. The programme included briefing on the aspirations and roles of youth as well as a visit to the 'Pusat Bahagia' and Maraburong Prison.
