To introduce and promote Japanese cuisine, culture and tourism, the Embassy of Japan and Onecity Shopping Centre organised the Japanese Food Festival 2025. It took place at the Shopping Centre at Jalan Utama Salambigar, 9th August afternoon.
Officiating the festival was His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the county. It was participated by 33 local and foreign businesses selling various types of Japanese food, drinks and products, traditional and modern as well as those modified according to local taste, apart from providing tourism information to Japan. The event also showcased a demonstration of Kajiki Maguro Kaitai, which is fish cutting, and a performance of Wadaiko, a traditional Japanese drum.
