A Joint Statement issued after the Four-Eye Meeting between HIs Majesty and the Prime Minister of Malaysia among other matters highlighted the Leaders' commitment towards the progress of the land boundary demarcation and survey between both countries; the importance of deepening economic collaboration between Brunei Darussalam and the states of Sabah and Sarawak; further enhancing the bilateral cooperation in defence, investment, immigration, education, Disaster Management and Syariah Judiciary; the signing of the renewed Memorandum of Understanding on Health Cooperation during the 26th Annual Leaders' Consultation; and Brunei Darussalam's support for Malaysia's ASEAN Chairmanship, in particular to fully and effectively implement the ASEAN Vision 2045 in bringing tangible socio-economic benefits to the people of ASEAN.
