The Jamboree On The Air and Jamboree On The Internet (JOTA-JOTI) programmes are annual events that bring together scouts around the world via radio and internet communication to foster a spirit of global friendship and strengthen technological skills among scouts. A launching ceremony was held at the National Scouts Activities and Training Centre, Scouts Complex, Jalan Gadong, 19th October morning.
The launch was officiated by Skip Retired Lieutenant Colonel Ramli bin Abdul Hadis, Deputy Chief Commissioner of the Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. More than 100 participants consisting of scouts members at various levels participated in the activities. The programme was organised by the Amateur Radio Club of the Scouts, Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam Amateur Radio Association.
