Four children's storybooks were launched by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports at the International Convention Centre in Berakas, 28th August morning. The newly published books act as a medium to strengthen the nation's identity through Malay language and literature, as well as enculturing the habit of reading from a young age.
The launching was officiated by Doctor Haji Muhammad Hadi bin Muhammad Melayong, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Among the works launched were the results of the Picture Book Writing Contest in conjunction with Language Month 2022, namely the book titled 'Kisah A, E, I, O, U' by Awang Muhammad Najmuddin bin Mohammad, winner of the Third Honorary Prize.
