Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah binti His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah inaugurated the Home Economics Exhibition 2025. It was held in conjunction with His Majesty's 79th Birthday celebration for the Brunei Muara District, organised by the celebration's executive committee, and managed by the Brunei Darussalam Pertiwi Association. The ceremony took place at the Youth Centre in the capital, 4th September morning. Also present were Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador At-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al-Islam.
Upon arrival, Her Royal Highness was greeted by Datin Hajah Dayang Siti Hajar binti Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Awang Mohd Yusof, President of the Pertiwi Association as Co-Chairperson of the ceremony, as well as committee members. The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Dayang Hajah Fatimah binti Haji Abdul Ghani.
The President of the Pertiwi Association in her welcoming remarks underlined that the exhibition was a manifestation of collaboration and understanding in enlivening the Royal Birthday celebration.
Her Royal Highness officiated the exhibition. Her Royal Highness then presented souvenirs of appreciation to the participants of the exhibition. Doa selamat was read by Dayang Hajah Fatimah.
The exhibition featured the various skills and talents of women in home economics that can be further developed.
