Public urged to be cautious, stay clear for safety
The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) will conduct a live-fire shooting exercise at the RBPF Shooting Range Complex in Kampong Sungai Akar from October 6 to 8, 2026.
According to a press statement, the exercise will take place daily from 7am to 4pm at the shooting range complex at Simpang 338, Jalan Muara.
Members of the public are advised not to be alarmed by the sound of gunfire during the exercise and are urged to avoid approaching the area for safety reasons, as live ammunition will be used throughout the training.
The RBPF said the precaution is necessary to prevent any untoward incidents while the exercise is being carried out.
RBPF seeks public cooperation in observing safety measures and staying clear of the training area during the course of the exercise.
