PHNOM PENH, KEMBOJA, Isnin, 8 Disember. - Negara Brunei Darussalam (NBD) melalui Kementerian Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi (MTIC) telah menyertai Digital Government Forum 2025 dengan tema 'Accelerating Digital Future : Governance, Growth, and Global Partnerships', yang telah diadakan di Phnom Penh, Kemboja, dari 5 hingga 7 Disember 2025. Menteri Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi, Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha telah mengetuai delegasi NBD ke forum tersebut, atas jemputan khas dari Menteri Pos dan Telekomunikasi Kerajaan Kemboja, Tuan Yang Terutama Dr. Chea Vandeth. Forum tersebut telah dirasmikan oleh Timbalan Perdana Menteri Tetap dan Menteri Yang Bertanggungjawab Ke Atas Pejabat Majlis Menteri-Menteri Kerajaan Kemboja, Tuan Yang Terutama Vongsey Vissoth. Turut hadir, para menteri digital lain, Setiausaha Agung ASEAN, pegawai-pegawai kanan, rakan pembangunan serta organisasi teknologi terkemuka. Yang Berhormat telah mengambil bahagian sebagai ahli panel dalam Dialog Digital Ministerial bertajuk 'Harmonizing Our Digital Future : From National Strategies to Collective National and Regional Impact' bersama Tuan Yang Terutama Dr. Chea Vandeth; Setiausaha Kanan Jabatan Teknologi Maklumat dan Komunikasi (DICT), Republik Filipina, Tuan Yang Terutama David L. Almirol Jr. dan Presiden Pihak Berkuasa Komunikasi Kebangsaan Timor-Leste, Tuan Yang Terutama Flavio Cardoso Neves. Dialog tersebut meneroka bagaimana strategi digital kebangsaan dapat diselaraskan untuk membentuk rangka kerja serantau yang padu bagi menyokong pembangunan inklusif dan kemakmuran bersama. Perbincangan memberi tumpuan kepada usaha mengatasi peraturan digital yang berpecah-pecah, meningkatkan 'interoperability' dan memperkukuh piawaian serantau bagi memacu kerjasama digital yang lancar. Penekanan turut diberikan kepada mekanisme tadbir urus yang selaras, ekosistem data yang dipercayai serta selamat, dan pelaburan bersepadu dalam teknologi transformasi seperti kecerdasan buatan, keselamatan siber dan sistem identiti digital. Yang Berhormat turut mengadakan mesyuarat dua hala dengan TYT Dr. Chea Vandeth. Kedua-dua pihak bertukar pandangan mengenai cara mempertingkat kerjasama dalam kerajaan digital, pembangunan kapasiti dan inovasi teknologi. Mesyuarat tersebut menekankan bidang kepentingan bersama seperti meningkatkan daya ketahanan keselamatan siber, memperbaiki rangka kerja tadbir urus data, mengukuhkan penyampaian perkhidmatan awam digital dan meneroka teknologi baharu bagi menyokong transformasi digital yang berorientasikan masa depan serta berpusatkan rakyat. Delegasi NBD turut berpeluang berinteraksi dengan pemimpin antarabangsa dan serantau lain dalam komuniti digital bagi membincangkan trend semasa dan yang bakal muncul, cabaran utama serta peluang kerjasama dalam kerajaan digital dan transformasi. Mengiringi Yang Berhormat Menteri Pengangkutan dan Infokomunikasi ialah Setiausaha Tetap MTIC, Ir. Haji Mohammad Nazri bin Haji Mohammad Yusof bersama pegawai-pegawai kanan MTIC serta Pusat Kebangsaan e-Kerajaan (EGNC).
