Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with the members of the Mosque's Takmir Committee and Muslimah on 24th August night also held a Dikir Maulud Opening Ceremony.
Present was Associate Professor Dr Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, Ra'es of Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College. Such a ceremony is held to enliven the mosque for 12 consecutive nights in commemoration of the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wassalam.
