The Ministry of Home Affairs and departments under it held a Maulidur Rasul Celebration. Organised by the Prisons Department, the event was held at the ministry, 16th September afternoon.
In attendance was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. The special talk titled 'Kelebihan Selawat, Raih Syafaat' among other stressed that reciting selawat is not only a sign of love towards Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wasallam, but also a way to obtain the mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala. Also held, a Dikir Marhaban performance and presentation of certificates and plaques to 124 officers and staff of the ministry who retired last year.
