The Maulidur Rasul Celebration in the country continues to be glorified with dikir ceremonies by various parties. A delegation from the Ministry of Home Affairs held a Dikir ceremony at An-Na'im Mosque, Kampung Panchor Mangkubau, 2nd September night.
Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. Also present were members of the Legislative Council.
At Istana Nurul Iman, the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism held a religious ceremony. Among those attending was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The event also featured a religious talk titled 'Sirah Zaman Menjelang Kerasulan'.
At Masjid Universiti, Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD, in collaboration with the Postal Services Department and Muslimah group of Kampung Perpindahan Mata-Mata Mosque, another Dikir Maulud ceremony was held. The delegation was led by Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister's Office, continued the Dikir ceremony at Kampong Labu Estate Mosque, Temburong District. The delegation was led by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Sufian bin Haji Sabtu, Deputy Minister For Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office. The event also included the presentation of endowment to the mosque.
The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports also held a similar ceremony at As-Salaam Mosque, Kampung Junjongan. Leading the delegation was Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council
Meanwhile, at Kampong Keriam Mosque, Tutong District, the Ministry of Religious Affairs continued its Ihya Maulidur Rasul ceremony. The delegation was led by Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Also present were Members of the Legislative Council.
